Rome committed to the University of Washington to play college football and has never looked back. As a true freshman at Washington in 2020, Odunze played in all four games and had six receptions for 72 yards. As a sophomore in 2021, he started seven of nine games, recording 41 receptions for 415 yards and four touchdowns. In 2022, Rome played in 12 of 13 games, starting eight.  He led the Huskies in receiving with 1,145 yards and was second in receptions with 75. Rome led the Pac-12 in receiving yards and was second in receptions per game.  Romes 2022 performance of 1,145 yards was fifth-most in UW single-season history… all while missing a game early on in the season.
